Shark Fishing, Catch & Release: 3-Hour Afternoon Trip

A private 3-hour afternoon trip for up to 4 anglers: $740 for the whole boat, starting at 1:00 PM from Hyde Street Harbor at Fisherman's Wharf. We fish for sharks in the Bay, and every shark goes back in the water.

Why catch and release

You still get the fight and a photo before the shark goes back. Nothing is kept, so there's no cleaning at the end, and the afternoon start fits around the rest of your day. More on catch and release.

Bringing more people

Choose the number of anglers when you book online, up to 4. Everyone 16 or older needs a California fishing license, even though every shark is released.

• Provided: rods, reels, tackle and bait.
• Bring: your fishing license, warm layers and something to drink or snack on.

Where to meet: Hyde Street Harbor, 2951 Hyde St, at Fisherman's Wharf. When you arrive, text Captain Molly from the bench. Please don't walk down to the boat on your own.

Booking and cancellation

Book online and pay in full at booking. There's no deposit. Cancel free up to 7 days before your trip. Within 7 days there's no refund. If Captain Molly cancels for weather, you get a full refund or a new date.
